Chelsea stars welcome SWP

Chelsea players have welcomed the impending arrival of Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Wright-Phillips will make up a quartet of world class wingers along with Robben, Cole and Damien Duff, and the increased competition for places has been welcomed.

"Shaun's a great fella," fellow England international Joe Cole told Sky Sports News.

"He's going to be a welcome addition to the squad, not just on the pitch but off the pitch too.

"He's going to give us lots of options and give the boss a lot of options."

Robben is also a fan of the Manchester City star - believing that his pace will be a key attribute.

"I've seen him play a couple of times but only on television I think," said the young Dutchman.

"I think he's a great player with great pace.

"Yes, I think he's a great winger."
