Mancini wants Roma exit

Alessandro Mancini's agent claims his client wants to leave Roma this summer.

The agent of Roma winger Alessandro Mancini claims his client wants a move away from Stadio Olimpico.

The Brazilian has been linked with moves to Serie A rivals Internazionale and Juventus, with the winger having declared his intention to move on from the Giallorossi this summer.

"Mancini wants to leave," said Mancini's agent Gilmar Veloz.

"The club know very well his wish and they have already taken into consideration his request, although no serious negotiations have begun as yet."

Juve boss Fabio Capello is thought to think highly of the South American, having coached Mancini when he was previously in charge at Roma.

Despite Capello's interest, Juve general manager Luciano Moggi has played down the prospect of Mancini moving to the Serie A champions this summer.

Inter manager Roberto Mancini is keen to bring in a winger this summer, but both Inter and Juve may find reaching a deal to be a difficult task, as Roma seemingly want a large cash fee in order to part with Mancini.
