Henry settled at Highbury
Thierry Henry has quashed speculation he is unhappy at Arsenal.
Thierry Henry has quashed speculation he is unhappy at Arsenal and stated nothing could make him leave The Gunners, except for the club themselves. The France international striker, who is currently on the sidelines with a calf strain, has been linked with a host of big name clubs over the years, including Barcelona in recent times.
However, Henry claims to be settled in North London and revealed he has never been troubled by life in England.
The 27-year-old enjoys a good relationship with French tactician Arsene Wenger and is not looking to leave.
"I'm very settled here. Nothing serious has ever happened to me since I've been at Arsenal, but you never know. If something did, I don't know how I would react," said Henry.
"For now, I'm happy and I get on really well with Arsene Wenger. Right now, nothing could make me leave.
"That said, it's only if the club wanted me to move or if I lost my place in the team, that I would consider going."
Meanwhile, Henry believes the team's performances in the league must be deemed a failure this time around following their superb record en route to The Premiership crown last term.
"People expected us to do better than last season," he added. "You live and die on success and sometimes you get knocked down because of it.
"Then again, to do better than being champions of England without losing a game is tough.
"We would have liked to be in the Champions League still, but like every year, we have had our bad spell."
