New Lazio signing Fabio Bazzani is looking forward to getting his season off and running at the club.Bazzani has arrived at Lazio from Sampdoria, with Simone Inzaghi going in the opposite direction.
The Italian international has struggled for form this season and has only managed to score two goals to date, but he is looking forward to playing for the Rome-based club.
"My championship starts now. I'm arriving from five difficult months and now I have a big opportunity," Bazzani said.
"Being here is a personal satisfaction, considering it seemed everything would fail."
Bazzani admitted he decided to move as a few things had changed at Sampdoria.
"A few things were changing. I didn't want to make an escape or ruin the relationship and the club understood it was better in this way," he added.
