Wrexham trial ex-Red Devil

Wrexham have taken former Man Utd youngster Callum Flanagan on trial.

The 18-year-old forward left Old Trafford in the summer and is now trying his luck in North Wales.

He played for Wrexham's second string on Wednesday and impressed with a goal.

The Red Dragons will continue to cast their eye over him in the next few days.

Meanwhile, Scott Green - who recently returned to the club on a short-term deal - has now signed on until the end of the season.

"This is very good news," said manager Denis Smith

"We knew we had to act fast, before any administration order was likely to come into effect on Friday.

"I talked to Scott when he arrived for training this morning and everything was agreed very quickly!"
