Baggies eye Inamoto

West Brom could be set to snap up Japanese star Junichi Inamoto.

Inamoto recently left English football after two year's at Fulham failed to bring the permanent deal he desired.

The former Arsenal man returned to owners Gamba Osaka, but West Brom are poised to bring him back to The Premiership.

The 24-year-old earned a reputation as a goalscoring midfielder, and fired home superbly in a 3-1 win for Fulham against Manchester United last season.

Inamoto, a Japan international, is believed to favour a return to Europe, but it remains to be seen if West Brom can prise the player away from his J-League side.

West Brom boss Gary Megson has admitted he needs to bring in players as the side aim to cling on to their top-flight status, and Inamoto has shown that he can bring great quality at this level.
