Emerson set on Juve move
The Brazilian international seems set to leave Roma as the club look to reduce their debts and Emerson is keen on a move to Turin.
Real would like to bring the Brazil captain to Spain, but the defensive midfielder has his heart set on a move to Juve.
Juve have agreed a deal with the player, but the deal is being held up as Roma do not want to sell Emerson to a Serie A rival.
The player's agent Gilmar Veloz admitted Emerson will stick by his word despite Real's interest.
"We have an agreement with Juve and it will be respected. Roma told us that in July we could choose his next club and we have chosen Juventus," Veloz told Spanish daily Marca.
"We had a brief meeting with Real President Florentino Perez on May 21 and he understood the situation.
"Any player would be happy to join Real Madrid, but we cannot break our word to Juventus."
