Lyon star on way to Milan

Lyon star Vikash Dhorasoo has reportedly agreed a two-year contract with Milan.

After failing to hold down a regular starting slot this term, the talented midfielder has decided to try his luck in Serie A with the European Cup holders.

Lyon had been keen to tie the schemer down to a new contract since he has impressed after arriving from Le Havre in 1998, helping l'OL lift the French title last term and being voted Player of the Year at Stade Gerland.

As he was free to make his own choice in June, the 30-year-old decided that he was upset with the lack of first team action during this campaign and is now ready to make the move to Milan on a Bosman free transfer.

Paris Saint Germain, Marseille and Arsenal had all been linked with Dhorasoo but the lure of Serie A looks to have proved decisive.

Another Lyon man who is expected to leave in the summer is Patrick Muller.

The Switzerland international stopper is also reaching the end of his contract and there has been no progress in talks over a fresh deal.

A switch to Germany seems the likeliest outcome to the situation.
