Monaco target Gers ace
Monaco have reportedly set their sights on Rangers midfielder Mikel Arteta to replace Lucas Bernardi at Stade Louis II.
The Principality side expect Bernardi to depart in the summer and want the gifted Spaniard to fill his place in the side.
Arteta is due to hold talks over his long-term future at Ibrox, despite having a contract with the team until 2006.
The playmaker, who is reportedly interesting Atletico Madrid, Deportivo La Coruna, Real Zaragoza and Marseille, has his eyes set on joining a bigger club away from The SPL.
With Monaco boss Didier Deschamps keen on young talent, the Gers ace fits the mould and he sees him as an ideal replacement for Bernardi.
