PSV confirm Robben enquiry
PSV Eindhoven chairman Harry van Raaij has revealed that a top European side has made an official enquiry for teenage star Arjen Robben.
Van Raaij refused to divulge the identity of the interested party in the Dutch international but the PSV chief did say the club is 'in the calibre of Real Madrid and Manchester United'.
The 19-year-old is in his second season with the Philips Stadion outfit following his é¼9 million move from fellow Eredivisie side Groningen in the summer of 2002.
According to van Raaij, the chances of the youngster leaving the high-flying Eredivisie outfit next summer are fifty-fifty.
However, the PSV chairman stated clearly that Robben will not go during next month's transfer window period.
The winger is said to be unaware of the interest in him, but that he is due to meet with van Raaij next week.
The news comes after PSV defender Kevin Hofland confirmed that he is seeking a move to a club in England.
