Espanyol suffer Lemmens blow

Espanyol goalkeeper Erwin Lemmens has been ruled out of action for ten days with a hairline fracture of a finger in his right hand.

The Belgian custodian sustained the injury after a clash in training, and will now miss Sunday's home league clash with Sevilla.

Lemmens becomes the sixth Espanyol player ruled out of the Sevilla clash, and it means that Toni Jimenez will take his place between the sticks.

Also ruled out are Kevin Bobson, Jonathan Soriano, Pierre Wome, Alex Fernandez and Oscar Garcia.

There was some good news for Espanyol coach Luis Fernandez, however, as Raul Tamudo will be back for the game at Estadi Montjuic, while midfielder Ivan de la Pena is available to make his first start since his return to the club.
