Injury worries for Ajax
Ajax have a number of problems ahead of their pivotal UEFA Champions League clash with Milan on Wednesday.
With star man Rafael van der Vaart suspended, along with Zdenek Grygera, coach Ronald Koeman was not looking for injuries to add to his worries.
However, Brazilian winger Maxwell picked up a knee injury against Heerenveen at the weekend and is a major doubt.
"We'll have to wait, but it doesn't look good," was Koeman's assessment of the injury.
Steven Pienaar is struggling to shake off a leg injury, while Jelle van Damme and Hatem Trabelsi will not be fit to face the Rossoneri.
