Ronaldo wants Real to sign Rivaldo

REAL MADRID star Ronaldo has revealed he will ask the club to consider making a move for Brazilian team-mate Rivaldo.

Rivaldo has endured a difficult last year at Champions League holders Milan as he is well down the pecking order at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The former Barcelona star has expressed his discontent at The Rossoneri and has hinted he could leave the club.

Ronaldo is ready to help his fellow Brazilian by trying to win him a move to El Santiago Bernabeu.

"I'll personally speak with president Florentino Perez, asking him to take an interest in buying Rivaldo," Ronaldo told Brazilian TV station Globo.

Meanwhile, Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is planning to meet with Rivaldo to hold clear-the-air talks with the player and believes that the skilful attacker has been misquoted in the press after it had been reported that he felt 'humiliated' at his treatment at the club.

"I don't rely on these things. I want to talk personally with the player," said Ancelotti.

"We will make it immediately after trainings will start again."
