Kleberson set for Magpies clash

BRAZILIAN midfielder Kleberson is set to be involved in Manchester United's clash with Newcastle on Saturday.

The former Atletico Paranaense played his first game in a Red Devils shirt on Wednesday evening when he featured for United's reserves in their 2-0 defeat to Blackburn.

Sir Alex Ferguson watched his Samba star come through 90 minutes and is now set to introduce him to The Premiership at St James' Park.

"It has been very good for me to come out and join the group and pull on the red shirt of Manchester United," he told MUTV.

"I am absolutely delighted. The game was played at a pace I wanted and I got a lot of the ball.

"The pitch was great - it was quite fast - and I managed to do everything I wanted to do."

Right back Gary Neville also came back from injury and played over an hour for United's second string.

He is now back in contention for the game at Newcastle, but may have to settle for a place on the bench, like Kleberson is likely to.
