Milito bros steal show in Argentine draw
Diego Milito (pictured) grabbed two goals in the opening ten minutes, but it was an own goal from his brother Gabriel that gave Uruguay a share of the spoils.
A very open game saw the first goal arrive after just four minutes when Diego Milito found the back of the net, only for Javier Chevanton to equalise three minutes later.
Another three minutes on, and Racing Club star Milito was on hand to seal his brace - his first two goals in international football.
Argentina looked very impressive going forward as Marcelo Bielsa fielded many of his younger stars, with Wolfsburg's new signing Andres D'Alessandro the pick of the bunch.
Despite the attacking presence, Argentina could not add a second and Uruguay punished them with an equaliser just before half time when new Real Madrid signing Gabriel Milito put past his own keeper Franco Costanzo.
45,000 fans turned up to watch the game and bid goodbye to European-bound stars Gabriel Milito and D'Alessandro, but they did not hide their displeasure with the performance and made their feelings known to coach Bielsa.
