DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA are believed to be lining up Porto boss Jose Mourinho as their new manager, should Javier Irureta fail to agree a new contract at the Riazor.
Irureta's current deal expires at the end of the season, and despite still being in with a chance of winning La Primera title, it is unclear whether the Basque coach will extend his stay with the Galician outfit.
Depor president Augusto Cesar Lendoiro is thought to be compiling a dossier on Mourinho, who has experience of La Liga after acting as Louis van Gaal's number two during the Dutchman's first stint at Barcelona.
Deportivo are also thought to be planning to renew their interest in Porto's playmaker Deco.
The Spaniards attempted to initiate talks over a possible transfer for the Brazilian-born Portuguese international last summer, but were rebuffed by Porto.
