Orman able to carry on playing
In worrying scenes, Orman collapsed on the Easter Road pitch suffering from a fit, but Hibs doctor Tom Schofield insists his career is not in jeopardy.
"We would like to reassure everyone that Alen has had the best of medical attention. He is currently recovering and he is safe and well and there are no question marks surrounding it," said Schofield.
"No, it won't affect his career but he needs time to recover and tomorrow we can take things further.
"These things can happen anywhere - in public places or in private - and, in a place with fully staffed paramedics, first aiders and two ground doctors, then he could not have received better attention.
"We have to respect the player's confidentiality but the club are fully aware of the situation and have been so for some time and we have Alen's consideration at heart.
"He had a fit - there is no such thing in a sense as an epileptic fit. Fits are caused by a number of different things.
"I can't give specifics because I'm bound by confidentiality under medical ethics."
The incident occured at the worst possible time for Oman as he was being watched by Austrian assistant coach Slavko Kovacic.
Bosnian-born Oman qualified for both Austria and Nigeria, as a result of his marriage, and was looking to impress the Austrian assistant enough to earn a call-up.
He should still get the chance, however, as Austrian coach Hans Krankl will be watching Scottish football as he prepares for his country's friendly with Berti Vogts's side.
