RONNIE NEEDS MOORE MONEY
ROTHERHAM UNITED coach Ronnie Moore has criticised his chairman Ken Booth for not making sufficient funds available to strengthen the squad.
Moore guided The Millers into Division One against all the odds last season and anticipated an improved transfer kitty for his achievements, but this has yet to materialise.
So far Moore (pictured) has forked out just £75,000 on goalkeeper Mike Pollitt, and other signings have had to arrive on free transfers, much to the annoyance of the United coach.
"We have not invested anywhere near enough money in the team this summer," fumed Moore.
Rotherham face an uphill battle to extend their First Division status beyond this season and face a potential six-pointer on the opening day against Crystal Palace.
