AUXERRE CAPTURE DEBLOCK
AUXERRE have completed the signing of Pierre Deblock from Sedan for a fee believed to be in the region of £2 million.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been a virtual ever present for Sedan this season and his transfer will be a major blow to a club who are set to embark on the Uefa Cup trail via the Intertoto Cup.
Deblock (pictured) has signed a four-year contract with the Abbe-Deschamps stadium club.
Meanwhile, Sedan are reportedly chasing Monaco s Senegalese midfielder Salif Alassane Diao as a replacement for Deblock.
The 22-year-old has failed to command a regular first team place with the Principality club and may welcome a move to a side where he would have more opportunities.
