MUZZY IZZET`s tenth goal of the season was enough for Martin O''Neill`s men to secure the three points as they beat Southampton 2-1 at the Dell.
The Saints had took an early lead in the game when Moroccan international Hassan Kachloul scrambled home the ball after four minutes.
But Leicester were to continue their excellent run away from home and Tony Cottee grabbed the equaliser just 18 minutes later, when Matt Elliott - playing up-front - nodded the ball onto Cottee who smashed the ball past Neil Moss in the home goal.
Izzet then grabbed the the winner in bizarre circumstances after an hour.
The midfielder ran onto to his own up-field ball, but Moss got their first and hit his clearance back onto Izzet into the empty net.
Glenn Hoddle`s men were then reduced to ten men in injury time when Dean Richards was dismissed for serious foul play.
