Crawley midfielder Jimmy Smith has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
Smith, 29, who signed a two-year contract with the Reds in May 2014 when joining from Stevenage for an undisclosed fee, has put pen to paper on a new deal to remain at Broadfield Stadium.
The Sky Bet League Two club tweeted: "CONTRACT: We're delighted to announce Jimmy Smith has signed a new one-year deal, with the option of an extra year."
Smith, who progressed through Chelsea's academy, joined Stevenage in the summer of 2013 having spent the previous four seasons at Leyton Orient.
He was sidelined for three months last season after breaking a bone in his foot in January but still made 34 appearances for the Reds, scoring one goal.
