Brighton & Hove Albion's out-of-favour striker Chris Holroyd has joined Stevenage on a three-month loan deal.
The 23-year-old former Chester man has made just two appearances for the Seagulls this term. "It's been difficult for him since he arrived in January," boss Gus Poyet told Albion's official website. "It hasn't quite worked yet but maybe playing in a different environment will help him re-establish himself. "He needs to play regularly and at the moment we can't be sure that will happen here. We will keep an eye on his progress and I am looking forward to see him play." Holroyd is set to go straight into the Boro squad for their League Two clash with Lincoln.
