Chilean midfielder generating plenty of interest in Italy
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has admitted that he is hoping to lure Arturo Vidal to Italy.
The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is hot property this summer, with a number of clubs monitoring his situation in Germany.
His current employers have made it clear that they will not part with the Chilean for less than £14million, but that price tag has not put off a host of potential suitors.
Napoli are among a collection of Serie A clubs planning an imminent raid, with Genoa and Juventus also believed to be keen.
Extraordinary talent
The Bianconceri are understood to be leading the chase, but De Laurentiis has revealed that he is prepared to do all he can to bring Vidal to Naples.
"I've chosen Vidal," he said.
"He's an extraordinary talent and he's at the top of our list.
"I'm in favour of young sides and he could be of use to our cause."
