Transfer news: Juventus signing Kingsley Coman rejected Premier League interest
Wednesday 9 July 2014 12:06, UK
French starlet Kingsley Coman claims he rejected moves to Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham in order to join Juventus.
Coman finalised a move to the Italian champions earlier this week after he refused to sign a new deal with Paris Saint Germain.
The highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder made his first-team bow for PSG last season having come through the youth system of his hometown club.
But he decided his future was best served elsewhere and has decided to join Juve after insisting that he shunned the chance to move to the Premier League in the process.
"There were Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham interested in me too," he is quoted by Italian daily the Corriere dello Sport.

Many in France believe that Coman's move could mirror that of Paul Pogba, who decided to leave Manchester United in similar circumstances and, within 18 months, became one of football's most sought-after players.
