Andres Iniesta could be set to depart Barcelona at the end of the season. Despite having signed a new contract with Barcelona in October, a deal the club's official website claimed would "keep the midfielder for the remainder of his career", he has been offered a £31m-a-year deal by Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian. Italy
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will not be taking charge of the Italy national team again at the end of the season. The former Juventus coach, who led the Azzurri at Euro 2016, has been the subject of speculation of late, with suggestions he may leave Stamford Bridge.
But Conte's agent, Federico Pastorello, has moved to quell any such rumours, saying: "Conte has already been through that experience and prefers to work with the squad on a daily basis . . . I see him at Chelsea next year." (Rai Sport)
AC Milan are monitoring Memphis Depay's progress at Lyon ahead of a summer move for the former Manchester United attacker, who has scored nine goals in 23 Ligue 1 outings this term. (Calciomercato)
Belgium
Borussia Dortmund's on-loan Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi says he feels "trusted" by everyone at Signal Iduna Park, admitting he found his time at Stamford Bridge difficult. The Belgian striker, who has scored five goals and registered one assist in his first three games with the German club, says he "did not have a good time" while out of favour in West London. Although he has no intention of departing Old Trafford just yet, Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has expressed his desire to return to first club Anderlecht later in his career. "My dream was always to play for Anderlecht," the former Everton star said. "Before the end of my career I will definitely return, I can already promise that. I had a wonderful time there." (HLN)
