Antonio Conte calls for calm in the Tottenham camp ahead of a north London derby with season-defining proportions.

"First we are playing this game for an important target. For a place in the Champions League. This is first, to try to win this game. I also know the importance for our fans of this derby, the north London derby. This is the first time they're playing this derby in their stadium with all the fans.

"We have to try to get three points against Arsenal. We are talking about a good team, a really well-organised team. Arteta is doing a really good job. He's had the possibility to work and improve his team. In this moment of the season it has to give us a big push."

A third derby win in a row for Arsenal?

Tottenham will seek retribution against Arsenal on Thursday.

In the last two derbies, Arsenal have gotten the better of their rivals - winning 2-1 in March 2021 and then 3-1 in September 2021.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has described the North London derby against Tottenham on Thursday - with Champions League qualification at stake - as his most exciting game yet in charge of the club.

Mikel Arteta has told his Arsenal players that "tomorrow is the day" to achieve their target of a return to the Champions League by winning at the home of rivals Tottenham.

"For me it's not about the pressure," he said.

"It's about having that inner belief that tomorrow is the day and tomorrow we want to achieve what we have earned.

"It's more about excitement and the opportunity and when you have that in football you have to go and deliver and do it. That's the mindset we all have for tomorrow."

Both teams are coming off the back of impressive performances over the weekend. Arsenal secured a four-point gap between them and Spurs when they beat Leeds 2-1 after an Eddie Nketiah brace. Tottenham then put a dent in Liverpool's quadruple hopes as they picked up a point in an 1-1 draw at Anfield.

It's fourth vs fifth...

It is the fourth time in Premier League history that the teams fourth and fifth in the table have played each other in May.

The last time it happened was in May 2010, when fourth-placed Tottenham won at fifth-placed Man City to secure a top-four finish and Champions League football.

Chelsea (fourth) also beat Liverpool (fifth) on the final day of the 2002/2003 season to qualify for the Champions League.

Arsenal have the clear advantage in the top-four race but knowing they can settle for a draw in this spicy encounter might just become a problem. Tottenham have no other option. It's win or bust for them. With so many goals in their team and a manager who usually gets the job done in big games, the case for a home win at 11/10 with Sky Bet is easy to make.

Heung-Min Son rewarded our faith in the goalscorer market at Anfield as he scored his 20th goal of the Premier League season and is just two behind Mohamed Salah now in the Golden Boot race. Son is venturing into much more dangerous areas than in previous seasons as his partnership with Harry Kane continues to blossom. Arsenal have felt the force of Son's goalscoring abilities, conceding three goals to the South Korea forward in the last four Premier League meetings. Son has scored in the last two home wins over the Gunners and the 5/2 for him to repeat the trick is a bet worth following.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-1 | BETTING ANGLE: Heung-Min Son to score and Tottenham to win (5/2 with Sky Bet - Bet Here!)
