Martin's Starting Stats
The very first Premier League goal of the season was an own goal scored at Old Trafford (Kyle Walker) and the last goal of the Premier League season was another own goal at the same end of the same stadium (Chris Smalling). Both of those games were refereed by Jon Moss.
Wayne Rooney completed his Old Trafford century in 185 home Premier League games and Man Utd fell short of 50 Premier League goals with 49. The last time they did that was 1989/90 when they went on to win the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
Their rearranged game against Bournemouth fell on May 17 - which is the 26th anniversary of the replayed FA Cup final win over Palace.
August
Of the 220 players who started the 10 Premier League games in the opening round of matches, just 88 of them were English, the previous low being 90 in 2014.
Chelsea's opening-day draw with Swansea means they have not lost any of their 17 opening league fixtures dating back to a 2-1 defeat to Coventry in 1998, the longest run in the Premier League.
Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson's treble at West Ham United was the last hat-trick scored by an away player at Upton Park.
September
West Ham's three red cards in their first four games equalled the most undisciplined start to a Premier League campaign by Leicester in the 2003/04 season.
Claudio Ranieri took 11 points from his first five games in charge of Leicester. That makes him second only to Carlo Ancelotti's Premier League record haul of 15 points from his openings five matches with Chelsea in 2009.
Steven Naismith's hat-trick after coming off the bench for Everton against Chelsea made him just the sixth player in Premier League history to hit a treble as a substitute - but he was still sold to Norwich in January.
Alexis Sanchez's hat-trick at Leicester made the Arsenal forward the 40th player to start his scoring for a Premier League season with a treble (Callum Wilson, who we mentioned earlier, was the 39th).
October
Man Utd conceded three goals at Arsenal in 20 minutes, live on Sky Sports; the quickest they have gone three goals down in Premier League history.

Newcastle converted all their shots on target as they beat Norwich 6-2 at St James' Park, live on Sky Sports, becoming the first team to boast a 100 per cent scoring record from six efforts on goal in a single Premier League game.
November
Jamie Vardy scored in his 11th match in a row against Manchester United on Sky Sports, breaking the Premier League record.
Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho and Chelsea's Ramires scored in the Reds' 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge, only the second time in Premier League history two Brazilian opponents have netted in the same match. The other was in 2007/08 in Middlesbrough's 8-1 win against Man City when Afonso Alves and Fabio Rochemback scored for Boro, while Elano netted for City.
Olivier Giroud scored the 2,000th goal of the Arsene Wenger era in a 3-0 win at Swansea, the most of which have come against Spurs (91).
Jesse Lingard's strike against West Brom was Man Utd's first Premier League goal from outside the penalty area since Juan Mata scored against Stoke in December 2014.
Aston Villa's clean sheet against Man City was their first league shutout at Villa Park since they beat West Ham 1-0 in May 2015.
Man Utd's injury-time winner at Watford (a Tory Deeney own goal) was their first winning goal in added time since Boxing Day 2012, when Javier Hernandez's last-gasp strike saw them beat Newcastle 4-3 at Old Trafford.
December
Leicester's win at Everton ensured Claudio Ranieri's side would become the first Premier League team to be bottom at Christmas one season and top the next (only Norwich in 1987/88 and 1988/89 have achieved the feat before in English top-flight history).
Mesut Ozil created 20 goals for his Arsenal team-mates in 2015, a record for a calendar year in the Premier League era, beating the previous high of 19 set in 2003 by former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry.
Arsenal collected the highest number of points away from home in the Premier League in 2015 with 38 from 19 games. However, that pales in comparison to the record haul for a calendar year held by Chelsea, who managed to amass 49 points from 19 games on their travels across 2008.
January
Man Utd's 3-3 draw at St James' Park was just the 15th time they had scored three goals in a Premier League game and not won, 11 of which had come away from home.
Wayne Rooney's opener in that game was also his 19th Premier League penalty for United, enough to see him surpass Ruud van Nistelrooy's tally of 18. He has failed to score with eight penalties.
Lukasz Fabianski's long kick set up Andre Ayew to score Swansea's second goal against Sunderland, making the Pole the first goalkeeper to be awarded an assist by Opta in the 2015/16 season.
Arsenal's 1-0 home loss to Chelsea meant the Gunners had gone nine hours and 32 minutes without scoring against the Blues in the Premier League.
Liverpool's 5-4 win at Norwich was just the fourth time the scoreline had occurred in the Premier League (after Norwich 4-5 Southampton in 1994; West Ham 5-4 Bradford in 2000; and Tottenham 4-5 Arsenal in 2004).
February
Liverpool had six different goalscorers as they beat Aston Villa 6-0, the first time that had happened in a Premier League game since 2012.

Marcus Rashford's double against Arsenal made him the youngest player to score twice on his full Premier League debut at the age of just 18 years and 120 days and he scored at exactly the same age as Wayne Rooney's first double for Everton.
Arsenal's 2-2 draw at Spurs made it the highest-scoring fixture in the Premier League era with 137 goals having been scored in the 48 meetings between the two rivals.
Harry Kane became just the fifth Englishman to score 20 or more goals in consecutive seasons after Andy Cole, Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler and Alan Shearer.

Kenedy's strike 39 seconds into Chelsea's clash with Norwich in March was the fastest Premier League goal of the season.
April
Saido Berahino became the fourth player to fail with two penalties in a Premier League game when Watford's Heurelho Gomes denied him twice in Watford's 1-0 win at West Brom.
Gomes repeated the feat he achieved for Tottenham against Sunderland by saving two penalties in that match, becoming the only goalkeeper to do it twice in a Premier League game.
