Cisse back in France fold

Djibril Cisse has been recalled to the France squad for the friendly with Hungary.

Cisse has not played for France for nearly two years due to suspension and injury.

The former Auxerre ace missed Euro 2004 through suspension and then he suffered a serious leg injury last October while playing for Liverpool against Blackburn.

Cisse has made a swift recovery from the injury and scored two goals in the final Premiership game of the season against Aston Villa.

France are without Thierry Henry as he recovers from an Achilles injury and David Trezeguet is not included in the squad.

Les Bleus coach Raymond Domenech is without goalkeeper Fabien Barthez as he serves a suspension for spitting at a referee during a friendly in Morocco.

Arsenal winger Robert Pires has again been overlooked by Domenech, but Vikash Dhorasoo keeps his place in the squad.

France skipper Patrick Vieira has been left out because of his wedding on June 4.

France tackle Hungary on May 31 in Metz as they continue their plans for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
