Republic of Ireland have been handed a major boost ahead of Saturday's World Cup Qualifier in Georgia after Jonathan Walters returned to training.
The Irish striker joined his team-mates on the training pitch on Wednesday morning, after sitting out Tuesday's session with an ankle problem that made him miss Burnley's draw with Tottenham at the weekend.
Walters took part in the open part of the session, but will be carefully monitored ahead of their World Cup Qualifier in Georgia and Serbia's trip to Dublin next Tuesday.
Sunderland winger Aiden McGeady also trained after being given permission to arrive late following the birth of his son, but club-mate John O'Shea sat out with a tight calf muscle.
Midfielders Jeff Hendrick (thigh) and James McCarthy (hamstring) are ruled out of the Qualifiers, and Eunan O'Kane is back at Leeds to have treatment on a groin injury.
Ireland are level with Serbia at the top of Group D after six qualifying games and travel to Tbilisi to take on Georgia on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Football, before a massive game with Serbia at Dublin's Aviva Stadium, three days later.
