Ashley Williams is confident Wales can get over their England disappointment and make it through their Euro 2016 group.

Wales gave up a 1-0 lead in Lens on Thursday when an added-time goal from Daniel Sturridge gave England a 2-1 win and left the Welsh needing a result against Russia on Monday.

Such is the tightness of Group B, Wales could still finish in any of the four positions, but they will not have to worry about qualification should they beat the winless Russians in Toulouse.

And Williams is sure there will be no hangover from the England defeat by the time they kick off at the Stadium Municipal.

"We have all been through that experience before in our careers, it is the worst way to lose a football game," said Williams, who called the players together for a huddle at the final whistle.

"We have already spoken about what we need to do, we will not get too down as much as it does hurt. That was the message.

Joe Ledley will be available for Wales' final group game at Euro 2016 against Russia on Monday reports Geraint Hughes.

"We were down after the Sweden friendly because we did not perform and we spoke before the tournament kicked off about how to respond if we had a disappointment.

"After we beat Slovakia we knew it was not the time to get too high because we had not accomplished anything yet and now is not the time to be getting down on ourselves.

Wales manager Chris Coleman says losing 2-1 to England at Euro 2016 is one of the worst moments in his career.

"The work we put in means we should not be too hard on ourselves. We have done ever so well to get here - we have done well in this tournament in a tough group. So let's stick together and move on."

A draw would also be enough to qualify if Slovakia failed to beat England, while Wales could still lose to Russia and qualify as one of the best third-placed teams.

Former Wales midfielder Jack Collison believes Chris Coleman has a big couple of days ahead of him to pick his players up after they lost 2-1 to England

"If you had offered this situation at the start of the tournament, three points from two games, we would have taken it," said Williams.

"You cannot ask for more than it being in your own hands. You need to stay level because beating Slovakia did not put us in the next round, and losing to England does not mean we are out."
