England will play Spain in a friendly at Wembley on November 15, the Football Association has announced.
The fixture is England's last of 2016 and comes four days after Sam Allardyce's side host Scotland in a World Cup qualifier.
Spain also have a new man in charge - Julen Lopetegui replaced Vicente del Bosque in the wake of a second-round exit at Euro 2016.
November's meeting will be the 25th between the countries, and England will be looking to add to their 12-9 winning record.
Spain have won four of the past five, including a 2-0 success in Alicante last November in the most recent fixture.
Allardyce's reign as England manager begins next month when he takes his side to Slovakia for the start of the World Cup qualifiers.
