Adam Lallana believes England can beat anyone as they look forward to facing Hungary, Iceland, Austria or Portugal in the next round of Euro 2016.
England had a frustrating final match in the group stages, with a goalless draw against Slovakia resulting in a second-place finish in Group B behind Wales.
While the 28-year-old attacking midfielder said he was a bit disappointed by the lack of goals in Monday's game, he is looking forward to the rest of the tournament.
Lallana said: "I'm a tad disappointed that we didn't get the win obviously, but delighted that we're through.
"We feel that we can beat anyone so we'll be watching the games carefully over the next couple of days but resting up as well because we've had three tough games.
"But we'll be ready to go come Monday."
The Liverpool player, who has been in Roy Hodgson's starting XI for all three of their matches in the tournament, said to expect a lot from the 23 man squad.
"I think there's plenty," he said when asked if there was more to come from the team.
"We're very critical in ourselves and always wanting to improve.
"The squad's so strong and people came in and did very well yesterday so hopefully that'll give Roy a little bit of a headache in a good way.
"It's good that people keep knocking on the door and we've got a strong bench and we need an impact as we did in the Wales game."
Lallana, who has been capped 26 times for England, is also hoping to score for his team at this year's tournament, having not managed to convert shots into goals against Russia or Slovakia.
"Obviously I'd liked to have maybe got a goal in definitely the first game. I had a couple of chances on Monday as well, the keeper made a good save," he said.
"I feel if I keep working hard, it will come."
