Aston Villa have released a statement in response to newspaper claims that Jack Grealish was photographed slumped in the street during a holiday in Tenerife.
The pictures, tweeted by a holidaymaker in Tenerife, allegedly show Grealish lying on the ground, although the player took to his own Twitter account to laugh off his apparent involvement in the incident.
A short Villa statement said: "The club is aware of the photographs of Jack Grealish currently circulating.
"We will be meeting with the player but any action will remain an internal matter. There will be no further comment from the club."
It is not the first time the 19-year-old has been controversially pictured. In April, Villa boss Tim Sherwood spoke to him after a snap - taken in 2014 - emerged of the midfielder apparently inhaling legal high nitrous oxide.
"I explained to him his behaviour can't be tolerated by the football club, we can't condone that behaviour," Sherwood said at the time.
"It doesn't matter how young he is, he is now in a responsible position as a professional footballer. He's got to make sure it won't happen again, he's assured me it won't."
The midfielder made 24 appearances for Villa last season, becoming a regular under Sherwood, and helped them survived in the Barclays Premier League and reach the FA Cup final, which they lost 4-0 to Arsenal last month.
The 19-year-old is at the centre of an international tug-of-war between the Republic of Ireland and England and is taking the summer to decide on which country to pledge his international future to.
Grealish has already represented Ireland through lower age groups but the Solihull-born player is also eligible for a call up by England.
