Sepp Blatter must step down from his role as FIFA president after he stunned the football world with his comments over racism, according to
Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara.
The man at the helm of world football's governing body has caused widespread condemnation after suggesting that incidents of on-field racism should be dealt with by a handshake at the end of the match.
Blatter has since stated that his initial comments were misunderstood and that he remains committed to the fight against all forms of discrimination in football and society.
But coming just hours after Luis Suarez was charged by the Football Association following allegations made by Patrice Evra, and with John Terry the subject of a police investigation in the wake of an incident involving Anton Ferdinand, his comments have been met with astonishment.

Enough is enough
Kamara said: "Enough is enough. He has to go. He has overstepped the mark this time. It has to be resignation.
"He has never been in the position of being abused for the colour of his skin.
"I'm an ambassador for the Kick It Out campaign. He should just be saying 'Let's get rid of it from the game, worldwide, so football is clean'. It is a flippant remark.
"Time after time he does not seem to think about what he is saying. He has no idea what goes on on a day-to-day basis. If he did, he wouldn't have come out with that.
"People can't be as ignorant as him and stick their heads in the sand.
"People do say things in the heat of the moment. But you can't brush that under the carpet with a handshake. You have to take action."
Rio Ferdinand also joined in the condemnation of Blatter, contacting Blatter's
Twitter account directly, writing: "@SeppBlatter your comments on racism are so condescending its almost laughable. If fans shout racist chants but shake our hands is that ok?"
He also wrote: "Tell me I have just read Sepp Blatter's comments on racism in football wrong... if not then I am astonished.
"I feel stupid for thinking that football was taking a leading role against racism.....it seems it was just on mute for a while..
"Just for clarity if a player abuses a referee, does a shake of the hand after the game wipe the slate clean??"
