Watch live on Sky Sports Football and Main Event from 7.30pm on Tuesday

Manchester United v Derby County

Ander Herrera is available for Manchester United's Carabao Cup third-round clash at home to Derby following his recovery from an ankle complaint.

Fellow midfielder Nemanja Matic could return for the Sky Live clash after missing the 1-1 draw with Wolves due to suspension. But forward Marcus Rashford is sidelined as he serves the last of a three-match ban while defender Marcos Rojo (knee) is the only injury absentee.

Teenage full-back Diogo Dalot, 19, is in line to start as Jose Mourinho ponders whether to shuffle his pack and give outings to several fringe players for the visit of the Rams.

Derby manager Frank Lampard, who enjoyed some of the finest years of his playing career under Mourinho when the pair were at Chelsea, has no fresh injury concerns. However, captain Curtis Davies is absent with a hamstring problem that has sidelined him since the opening game of the season.

Midfielder George Evans will also miss out as he recovers from the knee injury he sustained while making his Championship debut for Derby against Ipswich a month ago. Forward Tom Lawrence will complete his three-match suspension and long-term absentee Marcus Olsson is continuing his recovery from a knee injury.

Goodman's prediction

Jose Mourinho meets Frank Lampard in the dugout for the first time! It just does not seem to be a happy camp at Manchester United at the moment and there seem to be a lot of mixed messages coming out.

It's close to a must-win game for United. They need to take this seriously and play a strong team. It's pretty much a free hit for Derby and Lampard will want to have a bit of a go at Old Trafford. I cannot quite see an upset here though.

Don Goodman predicts: 2-1 (9/1 with Sky Bet)
