Eredivisie round-up: Dirk Kuyt earns Feyenoord late point against Ajax
Sunday 23 October 2016 23:07, UK
Feyenoord dropped points in the Eredivisie for the first time this season after a 1-1 draw with rivals Ajax.
They needed a late Dirk Kuyt equaliser to cancel out Kasper Dolberg's opener and rescue a point at De Kuip.
Dolberg opened the scoring in the 55th minute, lifting the ball over goalkeeper Brad Jones after being put through by Joel Veltman.
But Feyenoord kept plugging away and got their reward with five minutes remaining when Kuyt headed home a cross from substitute Eljero Elia.
The Rotterdam side remain top of the table, five points clear of Ajax in second.
