Eredivisie round-up: Ajax close gap back on PSV

Ajax are now just one point behind Eredivisie leaders PSV after beating Willem II 4-0, while Feyenoord stay third after defeating Cambuur 3-1

​Ajax closed the gap to Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven back to a single point after thumping Willem II 4-0 on Sunday.

Arkadiusz Milik, Riechedly Bazoer, Lasse Schoene and Davy Klaassen all netted for Frank de Boer's Ajax side as they kept the pressure on their rivals, who beat Groningen 3-0 on Saturday.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Feyenoord struck twice late on to beat Cambuur 3-1. Jens Toornstra opened the scoring for the home side after 36 minutes, before Cambuur hit back with 20 minutes to go via Martijn Barto.

But Dirk Kuyt put Feyenoord back in front in the 79th minute, and Eljero Elia sealed the result with five minutes remaining.

Yuning Zhang scored a last-gasp winner as Vitesse won 2-1 at Roda JC Kerkrade

Chelsea youngster Isaiah Brown put Vitesse ahead in the first half, then Mike van Duinen levelled the game just before the hour mark, before Zhang's late winner. 

AZ Alkmaar beat 10-man Excelsior 2-0. Derrick Luckassen put the home side in front before Sander Fischer was dismissed with 13 minutes to go for a foul on Vincent Janssen, from which he stepped up to score the resulting penalty.
