Brazil ace Robinho insists he will not protest if he has to spend time on the bench at AC Milan.
The 26-year-old forward moved to the San Siro this summer, following a mixed two years at Manchester City, joining the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato at the club.
Given the attacking options at boss Massimiliano Allegri's disposal, Robinho insists he is a team player and will understand if he has to spend time on the bench this term.
The Brazilian told
Gazzetta dello Sport: "He (Allegri) is helping me to understand Milan and Italian football.
Balance
"It's clear that it will not be easy to see a team with four attackers on the pitch. It's a question of balance.
"But our coach always makes us feel like regulars, like we're all important.
"I assure you that I would never protest against a Sunday spent on the bench."
Robinho joined the Rossoneri after a loan spell with old club Santos and said he had made the switch to go as far as he could at club level.
"I chose Milan to reach as high as possible. We are strong in all roles," he said.
Found happiness
"I have found the same happiness and the same desire to propose a spectacular (brand of) football as there was at Santos.
"A Brazilian in Milan can't really suffer from nostalgia."
Robinho also praised compatriot Ronaldinho, believing all transfer speculation should end concerning the 30-year-old who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
"You need to stop writing that he is going to play in the United States. Dinho is staying with me, with us. I am also ready to tie him to the dressing room if necessary," he said.
"He is not just a champion. He is also a leader. And, for me, a true friend."
