AC Milan's troubles continued as they struggled to draw 1-1 with Torino at the Stadio Olimpico.

So far has the Milan star fallen that the mission was to avoid a third straight Serie A defeat and Carlos Bacca's second-half goal ensured they would do so, but Daniele Baselli denied them a first win since September.

After criticism from club president Silvio Berlusconi, Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic switched formations - a move which did not pay immediate dividends.

In a tame first half Riccardo Montolivo got Torino goalkeeper Daniele Padelli working with a daisy-cutter in the 24th minute and Giacomo Bonaventura hit the side netting with a swerving free-kick shortly after the half-hour mark.

It took Milan a while to get going when play resumed but they would manage to score in the 63rd minute, Bacca racing into the right channel to collect Andrea Bertolacci's pass before smashing the ball beyond Padelli.

The Rossoneri might have doubled up immediately. Bacca beat Padelli with a backheel but Kamil Glik was on hand to make a goal-line clearance.

Joy was shortlived in the away end as Torino equalised only 10 minutes later, Baselli collecting Andrea Belotti's chested pass and slotting home.

Indeed Milan were lucky to escape Turin with a point, as the Granata should have turned the game on its head in the 82nd minute.

Montolivo's slip allowed Afriyie Acquah to surge forward on the counter and it fell to Diego Lopez to react quickly and deny Maxi Lopez in a one-on-one.
