Koke has signed a contract extension at Atletico Madrid that will keep him at the club until 2024.
The Spain international, who had two years remaining on his previous deal, has reached an agreement to add a further five years.
A product of Atletico's academy, he was linked with Manchester City, Chelsea and Barcelona last summer but stayed put.
Atleti's sporting director Jose Luis Perez Caminero told the club's official website: "It is exceptional news for all Rojiblancos.
"Koke embodies what it means to be Atleti. He is one of the leaders of the team and has been raised from a very young age with the values from our academy.
