Porto have confirmed that they will exercise the right to sign midfielder Casemiro from Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old spent the season on loan at the Estadio do Dragao, making 41 appearances and scoring four goals.
As part of his loan deal, there was a clause that Porto had an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

Real Madrid can decline the offer and repurchase Casemiro, but they will be required to pay Porto compensation.
In a statement in their newsletter, Dragoes Diario, Porto said: “Today we give you good news that we want to become very good news. Porto have informed Real Madrid of their intention to acquire Casemiro.
"The agreement between the parties provides, however, the possibility that the Spanish club can reject the option, compensating Porto, so the ball is with Madrid. The truth is that Casemiro is closer to being a player of FC Porto.”
Real Madrid signed Casemiro on a permanent deal from Sao Paulo in 2013 but he made just 12 appearances in 2013/14 before leaving on loan.
