Lionel Messi took centre stage on Sunday as he produced one of the great Clasico performances in Barcelona's 3-2 win over Real Madrid.
The Argentine scored a spectacular equaliser to cancel out Casemiro's opener at the Bernabeu, swerving past two Real defenders before firing under Keylor Navas.
He had earlier been left bloodied and bruised following a collision with Marcelo, and played for much of the first half with cotton wool hanging from his mouth.
An end-to-end encounter saw Ivan Rakitic put Barca ahead and James Rodriguez level the score in the second half, setting the stage for Messi's stoppage-time winner.
He picked out the bottom corner to keep Barca's title hopes alive, celebrating with his shirt held aloft to the Bernabeu crowd.
