Neymar's agent has claimed the Barcelona star turned down a potential £160m summer transfer to Paris Saint-Germain which would have earned him £650,000 a week.
And Wagner Ribeiro also revealed that the Brazil forward was also "close" to joining Manchester United, but chose instead to sign a new five-year contract with Barca in July.
The fee PSG were prepared to pay would have been nearly double the current record, which is the £89m United parted with to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus.
Ribeiro revealed that the French giants offered Neymar £33.8m a year after tax, which equates to a staggering £650,000 a week.
"He was very close to PSG. He would have earned €40m [£33.8] a year, free [after tax]," Ribeiro told ESPN Brasil.
"Neymar was also close to a move to Manchester United. But he renewed his contract for less money with Barcelona, because he wanted to stay in Barcelona."
