The mid-table clash between St Etienne and Toulouse finished all-square at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. St Etienne went ahead through Loic Perrin after 25 minutes but the lead lasted just two minutes before Etienne Didot equalised. Serge Aurier put the visitors 2-1 up four minutes before the break only for Yohan Mollo to draw St Etienne level with a little under half an hour remaining. The result means stumbling St Etienne have now taken just three points from six games with their last win coming on November 23 against Valenciennes - which was also the last time they had scored before tonight. Toulouse had also been in miserable form but tonight's draw means they have now taken four points from two gams. The game got off to a tepid start and neither goalkeeper had a save to make until Ali Ahamada thwarted St Etienne's Romain Hamouma after 21 minutes. However, the hosts went ahead four minutes later when Mollo's free-kick into the box found Perrin and he headed home. The lead was short-lived, though, and just two minutes later Aurier's corner was flicked on to Didot whose low cross-volley found the net. Renaud Cohade's 25-yard shot skimmed the bar but it was the visitors who went in at half-time ahead. Moussa Sissoko pounced on defensive sloppiness and freed Aurier in the area and his low drive fooled the goalkeeper. St Etienne levelled 17 minutes into the second half when Brandao released Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the counter-attack. He raced in on goal although his shot was punched away by Ahamada, Mollo followed up to tap the rebound home. Mollo fired inches wide with the keeper beaten and Bayal Sall's header was cleared by defenders but neither side could find a winner in the closing stages.
