Argentine praises Marseille fans for helping him settle
Gabriel Heinze has revealed that the Marseille supporters have helped him ease into life at the Stade Velodrome.
The Argentine international joined in the summer from Real Madrid with some surprised by his choice of club.
The 31-year-old spent three seasons at PSG - Marseille's arch rivals - prior to joining Manchester United in 2004 but the defender insists he has been welcomed with open arms.
Heinze is now determined to help Marseille succeed at home and abroad as he bids to end the club's astonishing 16-year wait for a major trophy.
"I am settling well in this magnificent club, the fans here are making my life easy, they are one of the best supporters in the world," he told

"Our team is finding their feet as well, that will help us push on all fronts."
Surprise package
Despite losing their opening UEFA Champions League group game 2-1 at home to Milan Heinze is hoping his new side can spring a surprise in the competition this term although he admits former club Real will be in the mix.
"We started badly in the Champions League but it was against one of the best teams in the world," he added.
"Milan is a potential winner of the Champions League they have so many champions in their rank, they showed us their experience, but we did well we were not outclassed by them but we need to win the next game.
"Real have spent money on quality players, (Cristiano) Ronaldo is my friend and he is a good player, I know they will be very strong this season, they will be close in the Champions League.
"The English clubs will be there, the four are very strong, but Barcelona and Real will test them again, the surprise can be Marseille, I hope."
