Japanese midfielder Junichi Inamoto has signed for French side Rennes on a two-year contract.
The former Fulham player brought an end to his stint at German side Eintracht Frankfurt to reunite with coach Frederic Antonetti.
Inamoto played under Antonetti as a youngster at J-League outfit Gamba Osaka over 10 years ago.
The 29-year-old, who has won 71 caps for Japan, enjoyed spells at Arsenal, Fulham, Cardiff and West Brom in the intervening period.
He spent a season at Turkish giants Galatasaray before joining Eintracht in 2007.
