Scottish Championship: Hibs fail to beat Morton

Hibernian missed the chance to put pressure on second-placed Falkirk, after failing to beat mid-table Morton at Cappielow Park where the game remained goalless.
Anthony Stokes headed wide from close range early in the second half, although it was the hosts who came closest on 66 minutes when Joe McKee struck a post.
However, in the tea time kick off at Stark's Park, Robert McHugh headed a late equaliser for Falkirk who drew 2-2 with Raith Rovers.
An early Joel Thomas strike gave Rovers the lead, before Craig Sibbald levelled matters on 56. Ryan Hardie's low shot restored Raith's lead before McHugh came to Falkirk's rescue.
The result leaves the Bairns three points clear of Hibs who have one game in hand with just two remaining.
Falkirk, whose goal difference is seven better than their Edinburgh rivals, will be favourites for second spot should they beat Morton at home next Sunday. Hibs face home games against Dumbarton and Queen of the South.
Elsewhere, Dumbarton made certain of their Scottish Championship status next season as they came from behind to beat St Mirren 2-1 at the Bet Butler Stadium.
Calum Gallagher fired the visitors in front inside 10 minutes, locating the bottom left-hand corner of the net from inside the box.
Darren Barr almost headed Dumbarton level shortly afterwards although Stephen Mallan, Lawrence Shankland and Jason Naismith all missed the target for Saints who conceded an equaliser just before the break when Keith Watson put through his own net.
And 10 minutes into the second half Garry Fleming smashed the hosts ahead with a half-volley from distance.
The victory moves The Sons eight points clear of Livingston who now face the dreaded play-offs after losing 3-1 at 10-man Queen of the South.
However, it was the visitors who took the lead at Palmerston Park through Sam Stanton but that was as good as it got for the West Lothian side.
With an hour played the hosts drew level from the spot. Ian Russell, who had earlier struck a post when the game was goalless, was fouled by Morgyn Neill and Derek Lyle converted the penalty.
And nine minutes later Lyle was on target again, heading home from close range after meeting Mark Millar's cross.
Livingston's position in the play-offs was confirmed when Gary Oliver's low strike made it 3-1 on 79.
Six minutes from time Lewis Kidd was sent off, collecting his second yellow card, while Dale Hilson hit a post shortly afterwards.
Earlier in the day Rangers drew 1-1 with already-relegated Alloa who took the lead against the run of play through Michael Duffy.
Andy Halliday missed a penalty on 41 before James Tavernier headed the hosts level on the stroke of half-time.
Despite dominating from start to finish, Rangers were unable to find a winner after the break as keeper Scott Gallacher made a string of excellent saves.
At the end of the contest, Rangers were presented with the Scottish Championship trophy in front of their Ibrox faithful.
