Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke has responded to a group of Rangers fans who displayed a message for him on a banner at Hamilton by insisting he is not the "sick" one.
After Kilmarnock were beaten by Rangers in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox last Wednesday, Clarke claimed he had been the target of sectarian abuse from some Rangers fans and accused them of living in the Dark Ages.
Clarke later called for action and education over Scottish football's sectarian problems but before Rangers' 5-0 win over Hamilton on Sunday, some visiting fans at the HopeCBD Stadium unveiled a banner stating "Get well soon Steve Clarke".
When asked for his response, Clarke said: "I appreciate their concern. But it's not me that's sick. I'm not sick."
On Friday, Rangers chairman Dave King offered a "sincere apology" to Clarke over the "unwarranted abuse" and said it would be a huge loss if incidents like this forced him away from Scottish football.
Kilmarnock face Motherwell on Wednesday evening at Rugby Park and are looking to put an end to their poor run of form. They have slipped to fourth place in the Scottish Premiership table after a run of five games without a win, but Clarke is confident his side will begin to produce results again soon.
"I've got no complaints about the attitude and the personality of these players," he added.
"Obviously the results have been disappointing since we beat Rangers here in the league but we've had a really tough run of fixtures and we're still in the middle of it with Motherwell tomorrow.
"The points will come. If we stay on the same level of performance, the points will follow."
