Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham extends Rangers stay

Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has signed a one-year extension to his contract, committing himself to the club until May 2020.

The Gers No 1 played his 100th game for the club in the win over Dundee at the start of September.

Foderingham was part of the team that secured promotion to the Scottish Championship and the side that clinched the Challenge Cup in the 2015/16 season.

Foderingham joined the club from Swindon on a free transfer in 2015 after making 150 appearances for the Robins.

The 'keeper started his career at Fulham before signing his first professional contract with Crystal Palace in August 2010.

He was loaned out to a number of lower-league clubs to gain experience including Histon and Bromley before moving to Swindon and didn't return to Palace as was his impact with Town.

The London-born player has also represented England at U16, U17 and U19 level and was part of the PFA League One Team of the Year for the 2012/13 season.
