Celtic fixtures: Scottish Premiership 2016/17
Friday 17 June 2016 15:26, UK
Celtic begin their quest for a sixth successive Premiership title with a trip to Hearts on the opening day of the 2016/17 season.
And with the following week's home match against Partick Thistle likely to be postponed - with the Hoops in action against Inter Milan - another road trip awaits new boss Brendan Rodgers against St Johnstone on August 20.
With their involvement in the International Champions Cup, the 2015/16 league flag will be unfurled at their first Champions League qualifier. The date and opponent will be confirmed on Monday, June 20.
Celtic have sold over 42,000 season tickets for next season and their first chance to see the champions in league action on home soil is against Derek McInnes' Aberdeen on August 27.
And they do not have long to wait for the first Old Firm derby of the campaign with Mark Warburton taking his Rangers side to Celtic Park on September 10 following a two-week international break.
